Meet the Wolves
The matriarch of the Wolf family, Joan Abigail Wolf, is one of the last living members of Ishgard’s House Cross. Learning the truth about her ancestors’ long and painful history with House Dzemael, and her communion with the Wolf totem, along with her subsequent acceptance by Them, gave her the impetus to change her surname. That’s how Joan became the founder of the Wolf family, a small family of Seeker of the Sun miqo’te, born from a diaspora of non-tribal Seekers that reached Abalathia’s Spine nearly 1,000 years ago and acculturated to Ishgardian society over the centuries.
The Wolf family and its characters exist within the fictional universe of Final Fantasy XIV, produced by Square Enix, Inc. They are part of an ongoing fan fiction story that began in December 2018 and continues to the present day.
